Use car speakers in home.

So since i'm taking my JL Audio 15W0 out of my car and I have a couple other speakers, and they are just going to sit here; is there any way I could hook them up to use them as my computer speakers? If so, where do you get the power supply for them and ect. Thanks,

get a subwoofer amp off of parts express. won't have any midrange or highs though.

or buy a HT receiver....just note that most home audio is 8 ohm and most car audio is 4 ohm

Plate amp.....is that only for subwoofers? I have a couple of tweeters and full range speakers too.

Haha, I didn't read the replies before I posted my last comment.......well, luckily, my sub and the tweeters are 8 ohms
