I have a set of speakers that came out of a 99 Grand Cherokee, and i was wondering if it was possble to hook them up and use them as computer speakers. I know they have got to be better than the current computer speakers I have, JBL Platinum Serise. Possible? If so what would i need to do? I would be ablw to play more low notes, and it would give me somthing to work on this weekend!

This is only one of the most commonly asked questions in the Home Audio section //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

You need a small integrated amp or receiver to power them, and a 1/8" stereo to RCA cable to connect the output of your sound card to the input of the amp.

Would it be possible to just replace the speaker itself? I thought about disassembling the computer speaker stands, builing new ones that will fit the car speakers, and have it all wired up the same with the new speaker in it. Work?
