Im looking for something that will read a flash drive and play it through the system. Lately ive just been using my 360 to play music with my flash drive in my room,(the 1gb Kingston that was free). Im looking for something like that for the Home theater in the living room. That reciever is a very old sony, which is nice but very outdated. Does somebody make a interface of sorts that will read songs off a flash drive and play them through the system? The only thing i can think of is an HTPC, which ill be putting in but not for a while yet. Id use an MP3 player but im afraid the sound quality will be very shitty. Ill also be getting a new reciever but probably more towards tax returns. Ive been using a laptop in the living room and an SD card but recently the laptop broke so that option is gone. Ive searched google, nothing much there. Is there anything shorter than an HTPC or game console that will work?
