Hey,

I want to stop my HU from sending low frequencies to my 6x9s and my 6.5s but I want it to continue sending it to the subwoofer. If I set my HPF to 160Hz will it do that? Or will it kill anything under 160Hz all together?

try setting it to around 80 or 100hz. 160 is really high.

yes.

It depends on how you have the subwoofers and speakers connected to the headunit, and what crossover you are using.

If you have your subwoofer amp on a dedicated subwoofer output on the headunit and are using the HU's xover then yes, your subwoofer amp would still receive the low frequencies.
