I have a chance to buy this amp from a buddy... I actually originally bought it for a friend, he sold it to this buddy and now that buddy wants to sell it, but it probably has a total of 8 hours of play.

Anywho, I don't really NEED it unless it is .5 ohm stable or even .67?!?! If it can achieve that load daily, well then I guess I would NEED it in order to push my additional or additionals mach 5 15s ... Let me know if anyone has any experiece with sub 1ohm loads with this amp. I know US AMPS normally can go below, but that is on some of there better stuff. Thanks.

supa... I have trouble believing that.... This amp at 1.37ohms absolutely made my buddy's 6 10w1s SLAM, better than my amp that is rated at 1100rms at 1 ohm (but believed to put out a little more).... I would say that this amp does rated or near rated power.

might be a little bit more than 800, closer to 1200. definitely not 1500 though, not sure why they overrated it like that. its like that for the whole line.

ya sorry...but it doesnt do rated.

Even Greg at us amps said it doesnt

mine benched 953rms at 1ohm
Wow. I wonder why they would rate this particular line so high. Even when I e-mailed Greg, he told me they were 1200 x 1 at 12.5 volts. I'd like to see some less overrated ratings of the entire line.. It's pretty stupid that they have to do that.

No wonder!!!!!!

I've been wondering why I had to turn the gains on my Kicker amp (comps) to only get 100rms per channel in order to make the comps match the output level of my subs.

I guess I should've known by the 3X25amp fuses that there is no way it would put out 1500x1.

I've been trying and trying to get this amp to make my (2) TC Sounds subs play like I know they're supposed to....guess I'll be getting another amp now.

All I can say is I'm very disappointed with US Amps tactics on this one.

Wow I just realized... I have the exact same problem.

I thought I was a complete idiot.
