I have never seen these before. Just happened to run across one on ebay. They look pretty sexy to me and I was just wondering do they do rated power and at what voltage? Have to ask, I spend so much time on car audio forums that I am surprised I have never seen one for sale or being talked about. Link to amp:

If they do rated it looks like it would be a good match for my 2 RE SE 15's.

Any comments about them or anyone with experience using them?

Very simple, smooth design. Thats what makes it look sexy to me though.

First time I've seen one, I like the simple look to it I'd buy it depending on price
Looks like they are only $225 shipped on ebay brand new. Which is another reason I question the 1500@1ohm rating on the XT-4000. Pretty hard to find anything that does 1500RMS for $225 shipped brand new that is actually worth a crap. Hell thats even cheaper than Hifonics on pricing lol..

Couple more pics. The more I look at this thing the more I really like the look. I am just very doubtful that it actually does rated for so cheap //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif And I can't tell what size fuses those are in the pics either.

Doesn't say anywhere on the auction what size the fuse is. I did however email US Amps to ask them more info about the amp. As far as what voltage it's rated at, size of fuses, etc. Will post back here when they reply.

It is the new xt2 line, Same power rateing as the old xt lineup. They just beefed up the internals and went to a clean looking heat sink:D. the efficiency 86% at 4 ohm-84% at 2ohm-76% at 1ohm. They make them in 2 mono's,2 4ch, and 2 2ch //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Ok cool so we can expect about 1200w out of this.

I have to say I really like the simple, sleek look of it a lot. I just lose all respect for a product when they advertise a power rating that would be nearly impossible to achieve just by looking at the specs.

Too many companies go for the blinged up look on their amps. If a company would come up with something with a design this simple and nice looking that did rated and was a budget line it would sell like crazy. ( not saying there isn't anyone doing it. Sundown amps have a very simple clean look as well and do rated easily, they also sell very well. )

I'd love to see more amp companies make a very simple non blinged out looking line and not overrate them. I'd also like to see more companies rate at 12.5-13.7v instead of 14.4. Unless you have a tiny sub amp or a really beefed up electrical 14.4 ratings aren't going to mean shit cause you're going to be in the 13's or lower if you run more than 1kw on stock electrical.
