them xterminator amps are very overated...the 4000d really actually only does around 1600rms...try a powerbass amp if u can get one for cheap...you will be more satisfied

4000D is the model name, not the claimed power output.

I would go with the MD series over the XT.IMO

The MD seem to better built, make rated power and there have been some compliants about the XT.

I have not owned either so this just from reading and drawing a conlcusion.

been more complaints about the merlin line than anything,ive installed quite a few of the xterminater series,no problems.
