US Amps AX3200DE vs Sundown 3000D

06salterego, if you could watch your mouth I would appreciate it....

I have worked on both the Z1 and the SAZ-3000D (of course as I am the official repair shop) and I have seen nothing that would suggest such results, sorry, just don't believe you. Maybe you just needed more input voltage for the SAZ-3000D as someone suggested. Next time you talk about test results like you know what you are talking about please post some more specific numbers so we can see what could be happening during your test, as your findings are obviously (judging by the number of people who are saying you must be wrong) not the "norm".

and on another note the saz3000d only says input of 6v now acording to whats on the manual, 8volts is not even recomended, therfore in my eyes with an 8volt input is kinda irrelavent and a real test done with a max of 6 volts would more accurately depict the actual output.......there is no body performing a test online with real world applications.... ive searched every forum and no one has done the test @12volts with a regualr deck and moderate electricals (ho alt and 1 extra batt g31 or equivelent)

show me that test...... then that would be compareable to my tests.....

I don't think anyone is going to convince anyone on the "other side" here so this could go on for 30 pages with nothing from it. I'd rather get along with other car audio hobbyists so I'm not going to continue the discussion myself.

Just to highlight some things:

12V system

Efficiency was high at 0.5 DCR with a rise to 1.32 ohms @ ~80% measured at 3030 watts of output.
And on a 16V system

Power Output at Maximum Volume before Protection:
67.4 volts

77.1 amps

5196 watts
