Do you know how much thd you were getting to consider it a clipped signal?

i like sundown and i would run them again but as far as used goes for the price of used there is btter stuff out there, for the price of 650 id look into z1's memphis 4k's xxx65000's and of course the 3200 however i have never found one for that price, so i ended up gettign the z1....

well i just got off the phone with a previous rd rep that tested the 3250.1 which is bassically the same amp as the 3000d and the results where about the same but the 2ohm results where a lot worse right under 900rms at 12.5 volts, there is no comparison between the two amps the ax walks all over the sundown

I would love to see the test results ....that you did 06 ....cause trust me ive tested every Sundown amp and then some ...never seen any result like what you have said ....

hay 06salterego have you ever tested Audioque like the 2200 or 3500 amps to see what they would make ?

well, from what i have been told thats what the results where, i can show you where the tests where done, they have a digital and anolog o-scope and load resistiors, who knows really, i would like to see some tests done with how much each amp was being cliped

the audio q 2200 i didnt test a friend of mine did he got 2400 out of them, and the 3500 is saposedly the same as the z1 so it also does power....

and as far as raw power goes the fact that teh sundown has no voltage regulator the more juice you give it the more juice you get so to speak, so the clais of 7k at 18 volts is very possible (full square waves) and for spl that is all you want rite is sheer power.

For me im in the daily groundpounder scene som my 3k i want unclipped....i actually have 2 z1's in a civic hatch, i have adeal with kamanian for a sax 100.4 for my highs..

so i love being able to get down for long periods of time with out any funky smells.

yeah in our test we had it at around 13.6ish we had a 250 alt and 3 2400's for the reactive load, rise was 1.9 ( subs were 2 5200 18's in 10 cubes in a 4 runner)
