Us Amps 500a

What do you guys know about this amp? I was talking to a buddies friend tonight and he said he had a big purple amp that he thinks is called the 500a from Us Amps. I did a little looking and found an old classified on the amp and it was purple. Any info you can give me on this would be helpful. I think I might be able to get this amp relatively cheap.

Us amps are usually good amps I run a xtd2000d doesnt run hot like some other amps ive tried even at 1 ohm load

Anyone know where I can get some specs on this or better yet a manual? I'm really looking at buying this. Also could you give me a ballpark number of what you think it is worth if it works well and has just the normal cosmetic wear and tear on it?

I picked my amp up for 130 used .with warranty its rated 1200 rms.If the amp is 500 probably would pay 50 _ 75 $ us amps website mayhave specs if not there tech support is very helpful.

Lol. The amp he is talking about is pretty old, about 20 years to be exact. When US Amps first started making amps.

I have one, its a very nice amp. Mine is in pretty nice shape, and the board is perfect, and I wouldn't let it go for under 300 lol.

Nice I thought it was prob a 500 mono block but couldnt find it. Mine is old but in the last 10 years. Us amps seems to be a stromg reliable amp.

Thanks for all of the info. I just noticed one of these was on ebay and sold for 200 bucks but it wasn't working. I have been looking to buy a few old hcca's and old us amps. This might be my first one! One of these days,i will own a couple of those beauties that pro rabbit has.
