Ok since I already have my amp I figured I would go ahead and install it into my truck. I got a '94 Ford F-150 Regular cab pickup. I got a Diamond Audio D6 300.4 amp, I plan on mounting the amp underneath the seat because theres alot of space, mounting it the floorboard of the truck outtta eye's view. Now about the wiring, I have a 8 gauge wiring kit with all the neccessary hookups and what not. What wires do I run to the battery, and for those, I was thinking run them underneath the door panels on the floor, unscrew those and stick the wire under there. I hope to god the rca doesnt have to be ran that way, the rca cables are TRIPLE SHIELDED //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eek.gif.771b7a90cf45cabdc554ff1121c21c4a.gif If anyone can assist me with maybe what screws I should use, i think i can fit about 3/4 screws in the holes of the amp platform, and what do yall think about teflon washers underneath to hold. I just want input and suggestions on the right way to do this, and how to go from the woofer and tweeter to the amp without seein the wires. I was thinking placing the tweeters on the rails on the side, sorry i dont know the proper name lol...any feedback would be good, im thinkin about gettin started this upcoming week..And does installing the amp sound good before getting the speakers?

you run the long probably red 8 gauge wire to the battery + terminal with a fuse as close to the battery as possible and no more than 18 inches from it.

just mount the amp to the floorboard, be careful not to screw threw anything important

run the wires underneath the carpet or whatevers covering the floor

i don't know what you mean about placing the tweeters on the rails on the side, but a general rule of thumb is the closer the tweeter is to the mids the wider your sound will be

go ahead and install the amp just leave out the inline fuse

Question was too long, didn't bother reading... sorry.
lol dude, I had to fit everything all in there...and thats the condensed version...I coulda wrote more //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crazy.gif.c13912c32de98515d3142759a824dae7.gif but for the ones that aint got much to do ^ would be nice if somebody check that out..

this is what i meant by the rails, this isnt my truck, but pretty much same setup does that seem like a good way to go at it?
