at the very least, it puts an end to an argument rc415 (i think thats his name, lol) were having a while back about wheather the trf's had a modified top plate or not.... guess some do, some dont, lol

most local machine shops could do it.

the rings would have to be made in two pieces and attached around the motor.

problem being it would cost quite a bit.

if i had to guess around $250 if they supplied the material

you could always bust out the router and mdf to make one yourself.

then coat it in resin to give you a smooth surface to paint and strengthen it a bit.

just an idea.

The one on the right looks like the cactus sound version.

Try to email him and see if theres a difference.
