UPS Damaged My Enclosure!!!!

looks like it was not packaged right ... i try to keep atleast 2" of packing material around the object on all sides and corners iv shipped prolly 30-50 boxes and not one has been damaged poor packing FTL.... another option is to send it UPS freight on a pallet but u can fix that with a lil duraglass and some sanding

thats sucks bro! I was at one of our local parks here in arkansas, mammoth springs to be exact. But ya, I seen UPS, with MY OWN TWO EYES kick a box out the back of his truck and threw it up on another pile of boxes!

How was it packaged? i have a local custom furniture shop package up my enclosurfes for $30.....well worth the tons of foam and padding they use.

I think that is the shippers fault he or she shoulda padded the corners like someone mentioned earlier.

That sux that it was damaged. I will files a claim with UPS. If for some reason they do not cover it I will replace it.

I will admit, I didn't package it like I would an amp or sub, but I have shipped numerous boxes with this type of packaging and this is the first one to be damaged and it didn't even go that far...

doesn't look THAT damaged, just the corner right? lay the wood filler/wood glue to it.. and make something :/lol.

I had some rainbow germs come in and my brother was at my house in the living room. UPS showed up knocked on the door once and before my brother even made it to the door the UPS guy just dropped the box over my backyard fence onto the concrete, hopped in his truck, and took off. My brother didn't even have a chance to yell at him.

Im not gonna wait till UPS decided to come pick up the enclosure so they can examine it etc.

(they probably are going to say that it wasnt packaged well blah blah)

Don't take it as a hit man, that's an easy fix ... wood glue it together and if that doesn't fix it, cover it with some glue let it cure overnight sand it down do this till it's good and even and firm surface. As someone else said, get it carpeted or rhino-lined and you'll still have a badass enclosure.
