Woot....first 1/2 of my exhaust is here....shorty headers and a 2.5" offroad h-pipe ready to go on my 95 mustang gt.

Either going with flowmaster 40s or bassani mufflers and running into 3" chrome tips. Cant wait to hear the difference.

2.5" is plenty...its still going to give it extra power and sound better. Thats all i need

i think shorties are a waste... go long tubes. 2 1/2 is big enough for a 4.6.

that is a '95 with a 5.0 right?

FWIW I have borla on my '99 and it sounds pretty mean..

if you think shorties on a 5.0 is hard work... Try puttin long tubes on a 4.6 4 valve cobra motor. That sucked, but it sure made a difference!

Had flowmasters on 2 cars and Borla on my truck. FM's are definitely louder. Borla has a nice tone but I wish it was louder. Depends how loud you want your car.
