Gunz That Turn on Nunz
The DSP will do all you need and more. An 80 prs cannot even come close to what a legitimate dsp can do. However speaker wise, for the money, I'd go with raw drivers instead, you'll get much more quality for what you spend.Am I wrong in thinking that the DSP will take care of all of the controls I will need?
Plus, whats the use of getting a DSP that has 8 channels of output and independent tuning controls for mid, midbass and tweeter if you are just gonna get a pair of passive 3 way components?
I'd go with scanspeak discovery 3 or 4 inch mids. 6.5 or 8" silverflute midbasses and vifa Xt 25 tweeters.
I'd go with A pillar mids and tweets and midbasses in the doors or kick panels. Nothing on the dash firing at the windshield that causes massive peaks from the reflections that you need to EQ down severely. Overall you want it to be smooth straight from the install without having to EQ a whole lot to control it.
