The circled part is the guys power wire. Took the picture outside of a parts store right after he was messing with the battery connection View attachment 40062

. Man, I can’t lie. I did an install like that once but it was in my rookie days. I knew nothing about running wires through the firewall.

I’ve seen this more than once before lol. Doing a system is fun until you gotta get past that firewall.

I shorted a power wire once on my Explorer’s front left rim when running my battery to fuse holder wire. That sure was surprising

I’m genuinely curious if anyone else has ever managed to short a 0 gauge wire out on their actual wheel? Haha

Can’t say I’ve experienced that before,lol. But, I did fry a ground that was the size of angel hair spaghetti. It was grounded in my door jam to the back trunk. My Oldsmobile cutlass deserved better

I had my amps stolen when I was still in high school, and I had my 4 channel power wire short on a seat bracket when I was trying to hurry getting ready for school. Dude, it was a lot of sparks. A lot, very loud crackling, like fire right above my carpet

I may have shorted a wrench one time installing a power wire on an alternator…lol. Shit happens. Don’t drop a wrench while tightening a live power wire onto your alt. Haha I made a wrench spark off a motor block haha. When I say spark, I mean a water fountain of sparks

The good ole teenage years LOL.
