On our white company Van (e-150) we have a proffesional wrap around the entire van. Very expensive and was on the van for about 5 years no damage. Well pops wanted to change the company name so the wrap had to go.

Took me 3 days to take the whole **** thing off. Fingers were peeling and that shit was annoying. SOme parts wont even come off now.

slow progess:

Now that it is all off there is some residue remaining. I took it to a shop they told me $600 to buff the whole van and i laughed. I lauged cuz he was supposed to be my boy hooking me up with a deal.

Anyways should i try and buff my self.. He did a section of the van to show me and it came out pretty clean. He used like a mix of compunds that were like a lime green color?

ANY IDEAS?

Do it yourself go to a place where they sell detailing products and ask them what to use on your van Ive used a rubbing compound from McGuire when removing badges or stick on panels on a car. Oh and you can get an foam pad for a DA to buff that stuff out its not as heavy duty as a real buffer but it will get the job done and your less likely to burn the paint.

I'm guessing you didn't use a heat gun when you removed all the vinyl?
I did but it didnt do shit! it made it harder

I'd buff it for you if you lived up here. Try a rotary buffer with some Meguiars M80 or M105 compund
I think im gonna try this

Maco? LOL
no brand new paint has been covered up why would u paint it lol

i think i have to buff it out myself
