Unknown sub brand. 6ohm meter reading

If you only metered it like in the pic..you're pushing the cone down which will change the ohm reading..
Lol. Dammit. Right when I think maybe I'm not a noob anymore, I do things like that. 5.1ohms after a few minutes, guessing we can go with its a 4ohm DVC?

do the prongs on your dmm have any resistance ? I know Bose has funky ohm ratings but I don't know if they have subs with a magnet like that lol

Yes the dmm does, and it's different everytime. I tossed it out. Getting a new one tomoro. How accurate are new little cheaply ones like in the pic? Accurate enough to set gains?
