Uninstalling setup, need some help

So i sold my old setup to my friend and now have to uninstall the subs and amp. I am leaving the rca's, and power/ground wire in since i plan on buying a new setup but what should i do to take the subs out? I know i have to disconnect the negative, but should i take the fuse out and leave it out until i install my new sub? and should i disconnect the power wire from my battery's terminal?

Just take the power out of the amp and tape it up.

alright if you plan on leaving the wire in there make sure that you tape up the ends of the wire with electrical tape so don't start a fire in your trunk touching something or short something out . As for taking the rest of your equipment out don't really matter man. just be sure all ends of wire's are taped up good.

Take the fuse out of the fuse holder and leave the fuse holder in tact.

Thats what i kind of figured, just makes sense. Thank you for clarifying that for me.
