What do you have against private property? Also do you think government has a right to tax 35-55% of what you leave your kids? Sounds like double dipping to me considering taxes have already been paid on estates like this for decades before one dies.
I am very against taxing inheritances. I am also against taxing lottery winnings. I mean, you bought the lotto ticket with money that has already been taxed as well. In Canada, when you win the lotto, you get the whole thing. If a Canadian wins the lotto in the states, he gets taxed initially, but can file for the rest of it when he gets back to Canada.
I don't have anything against private property, but I do believe everyone is entitled to the same level of care in the health environment. I mean the health system is hypocritical. They send an ambulance to any incident, and no matter whether you are rich or poor, the paramedics give you the best possible care they can give. Why does that change once you hit the hospital?
