Illegally? Unions are tax exempt until they donate to political campaigns..then unions are supposed to pay taxes on their donations. Also corporations donate to democrats as well as big time trial lawyers. In fact most of the banks in the housing crisis donated much more to the democrats.
Funny thing is with PUBLIC sector unions those dues are paid with tax payer moneyas well as the workers salaries and yet LARGE sums of that money ends up going to democrats only ... republicans and independants pay taxes too...and donating to those democrats works against those tax payers intrests.
