Unconstitutional

Nope, you are about 37th on the list of best healthcare systems in the world. France ranks #1, Italy #2. Canada falls in at #30. The top systems are dual, and Canada is all gov't (aka tax) funded.
Rated on a socialist scale that counts being put on a waiting list the same as actually getting care. WHO has and accepts totally bastardized statistics as well. They actually have countries with very little to no neo-natal care ranked well ahead of us on infant mortality and the reason they are is due to the fact of what they can call a life and a death and nothing at all.

What is inflated and what is deflated? The joke on us all is the things that are being inflated no longer count in inflation statistics. Food, power, and gas are no longer counted but you can buy some clothes and electronics cheaper now than you could back in the 90's.
Ding ding ding!! Wow, someone finally gets what I've been saying! That wasn't a dig at you by any means. Just some of the people in this thread. The stuff that doesn't matter, electronics, is very cheap compared to the things we do need. Very reminiscent of the Great Depression when food and clothing was heavily inflated compared to a new guitar, for instance. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

The US is dual too. That's why I'm asking you WTF your point is.
And France doesn't rank #1 and Italy #2 because they have a good system. That's their rank because they're healthy. The US ranks 37th because we're a bunch of unhealthy losers.

Learn what you're talking about before you repeat it.

My point is the healthcare system is not the problem. The actual execution of it is.

According to the American Journal of Medicine, 60% of those who file for bankruptcy, do so because of medical bills.

Is that the same statistic for other countries who run a dual system? I have never heard of anyone going bankrupt from a gov't funded health system. Yes the states have the best doctors and practitioners....but accessibility to them is not for the average or poor.

BTW, you are in the IT field, not the industrial/manufacturing field. Ive worked with enough IT guys that thought they knew as much as the engineers/machinist/assemblers to know you pretty well already. I still remember the IT guy that 'informed' me that a square hole would work better than my design feature.
Learn your place in the food chain. It will make you better at what you do: keeping the LAN working correctly so the real meat 'n potatoes workers can do their job.
I am "in" the IT field. That does not mean that's all I do. I also run an engineering company where I design and build reproduction parts for VWs, personally.

The reason a "square" hole is not as good as a round one is due to the radius on the circle. A radius will build a stronger part. Contrary to most engineering texts, a well designed "square" or rectangle port will actually flow more than a comparable sized round port.

Keep your place in the food chain. Working for your boss and supporting your infrastructure sounds like its right up your alley.

Fixed and since when did bankruptcy become a health care issue? Also how are those countries doing now? Are the riots a treat? How about what happens when their countries end up like Greece? Individual bankruptcy is bad, but I would think the whole country being in the shitter would be a lot worse.

Sweet. Id love to hear how you'd machine a square hole in a part. And before you say it, broaching only works well in sheet metal. Google broaching so you at least sound like you have a clue what Im talking about.

Most IT guys Ive met/worked with felt IT was just part of their amazing metal capability. An online company where you make one-off parts for some obscure VW forum is not really an engineering company.

Actually you didn't "fix" it. I quoted direct from the journal. So yes, it is because of medical bills, not "some".

And yes bankruptcy is a health care issue when it is the health care system that is causing the bankruptcies. And if the states is not careful with their spending....they will be in the shitter too.

Here is a good read for those who think the states has the best health care in the world. - Discovery Health "10 Health Care Systems Around the World"
