Unconstitutional

i think there should be some sort of govnerment healthcare although i dont beleive this particular one is right..like it or not the healtcare industry is billions and billions of dollar industry and do you honestly think that if the govnerment says that healthcare providers MUST cover everyone that its just going to be affordable...you think they will actually lower their prices..NOT sadly enough i would bet the price for healthcare will go up significantly...and on the whole raise taxes...the people in america cant survive now as it is let alone raise taxes even more...we need to cut back wastefully, inefficient spending, and free handouts...tax returns for instant im not sure on exact numbers so bare in mind but say everyone making under $30,000 pays NO taxes...they just dont, yet with earned income credits and child credits they usually get back $1000's of dollars...well that $1000's is a waste in itself but if you go deeper ..for the government to give one person say $2000 by the time it goes through all the different agencies and what not it costs the govnerment over $20,000 for that "free" $2000 ....its this and many other wasteful programs that havnt helped our country but simply taken over the downfall....
You're exaggerated a bit... The low income projects are a good thing. It is just many people take advantage. You realize government run programs scream inefficiency no matter what. I say untill someone comes up with a national system that is better, you cannot complain with what they're doing right now. If you have kids and are working 60 hours a week and getting earned income credit I would love to pay for it with my tax dollars, but if you're a lazy sob who works at mcdonalds for 20hrs a week you can go **** yourself. There is just no way to filter it all out.. So if not that, then what?

It's unconstitutional, plain and simple. It will end up going to the Supreme Court where it will go down in flames...hopefully the Repubs will grow some testicles and repeal this piece of shit before it gets there...but if it does get there, it will go down in flames.
It's the gov't that fucked up "healthcare" in the first place. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif If they had stayed out of it, it would be the same insurance like auto, home, etc...you buy it for catastrophic coverage only...you don't buy home insurance and expect to be covered AFTER the house burns down, do you? What a bunch of fucking morons. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/boink.gif.91933e72f927f2cefc79aff02573090c.gif
Im just curious, when someone "falls" on a bullet in detroit and goes to the emergency room, do they turn him away when he has no insurance. If not who pays?

Auto insurance is a bigger scam.. ******* ridiculous.. I'm glad health care isn't like auto insurance. At least health care will pay to have me fixed up, auto won't pay for your oil changes after you meet your deductible.

..the healthy people. That is how it always works. How many people do you think are racking up $1 million bills in this country? Just like the people who get their car fixed with car insurance get that money from the people who haven't gotten in an accident.
And who is talking about the government providing healthcare insurance?
That's what I was saying. The healthy people end up paying for the sick people, and at an exorbitant rate. How many people? I couldn't tell you, but I do know of at least 4 families dealing with multi-million dollar health care bills. At $1 million or more AFTER their insurance deductible. Where I live there are a lot of fishing, logging, and construction related injuries. I know of at least 2 drowning accidents who's families are paying the bill after insurance. The others are construction related accidents. Talk to any insurance agent and they will tell you what kind of billing intensive care will send the company. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

However, don't you want to pay for people who have bad illnesses like cancer? I know I do and would want them to do the same for me... Just putting that out there.

I do not agree with the 90+ billion in obesity related healthcare spending.

You want people to pay for you having cancer? Do you know why there is such a high rate of cancer compared to 50 years ago? Exposure. Don't expose yourself to radiation, artificial foods or handle most consumer goods, and you'll be fine. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

Translation "move out of the USA" or back in time 100 years

Nationalizing health care will not fix what is wrong here. What is wrong with this country is how the government goes about things, I mean why should people making millions of dollars a year get tax breaks? I can see why you would give cuts up to around 300,000 to help small businesses but there is no need to have a 310,000 and up bracket that just gets cuts across the board. Taxing the people that can actually afford it, cutting wasteful spending and putting a stricter cap on welfare will help out tons before making health insurance mandatory will.

Oh and this little thing we call a war isn't helping matters.

One thought on it is this. Middle class people are making enough to live and have a mortgage and pay taxes. Most of them will only be able to make that money where they are, so they put up with whatever taxes they have. If the taxes get too high for millionaires, they will move somewhere else and the government will get 0 tax dollars from them.

And the war definitely isn't helping

Well obviously.. like most things.. too much is a bad thing.

Many European countries tax their richest 50%-60%. Here I believe it is about 40%, but you also have all of the sports players claiming residency in Florida to have no income tax.

It's too bad because if they paid their share it would help so much more. Why do rich people think they shouldn't have to pay taxes? They already have more money than everyone else (Wesley Snipes, i'm looking in your direction).

Denny Hecker, ******* piece of ****.

Richest 1% here make 14% of the income while the lowest 20% make 4.5% of the income. There is our issue.

First logical fallacy was by Snoop. They require you to have liability insurance on an automobile if you choose to drive one. Lots of people in big cities do not pay auto insurance. Why? Because they do not have a vehicle. This means you can opt in and out of this and the ONLY reason it is mandatory is so if you damage someone else's property or their body, the repairs or attempted repairs will be paid for. You cannot "ensure" your health. There is no certainty in health.

Next, the wait in hospitals is already ridiculous. Imagine when EVERYONE is able to go. They will be overrun. Again, this is simple logic. It is fact. It cannot be debated with truthful facts. Our healthcare industry may not be perfect, but rich people from all over the world come here to have their operations. Why?... because we have the best doctors and technology in the world because we pay the best. That makes us have the best HEALTHCARE in the world. We may not have the most affordable etc, but my surgeries etc are not something I want to go cheap on.

Next, we see all of the other countries in the world that have tried this, seeking ways to pay for it. They are all going bankrupt. Again... this is fact. It can be proven if you do your own unbiased search.

How do we fix it? First with tort reform. Insurance companies get sued all the time, so to cover the costs for the payouts and lawyers they have to charge us all more. Doctors get sued all the time, hospitals etc. These sorts of lawsuits should be investigated and the lawyers who specialize in this and the people that do this to make a profit maliciously should be prosecuted to cut down on these lawsuits. That will all bring the cost down for all of us. Then if the government wants to become further involved, give heavy tax breaks for employers that provide healthcare for the employees.

We cannot tax ourselves into utopia. Raising taxes will not get our deficit down. We got here by bailouts, stimulus etc. We've got to CUT THE SPENDING. Once we do that, we've got to get people spending again. How do we do that? You do that by making sure they have money in their pocket to spend. You can't do that with 10% unemployment. Nobody can afford to hire. You help people with tax cuts, that you just paid for with your decrease in spending. It has been proven time and time again that tax cuts get people hiring. After the Bush tax cuts, we enjoyed 53 straight months of job creation.
