Uisng a Smart phone wiht amp, no head unit

You guys convinced to keep the head unit, but I still need a new amp.  I have room under my seat, an area about 8x10 and about 2 3/4 inch high.  My old amp is 4 channel song explode with separate outs for subs.  I believe it was 600 watt.  It is like the one bellow.

Another question, are marine amps truly waterproof?

the truly waterproof amps are what one would call "spendy". Do you get your jeep cabin wet frequently?

Rain, I lost a really nice alpine to the rain.  I keep my top attached to the jeep now but don't always have the doors in and never the rear window in this time of year.  That was before I kept amp up and under the back seat.

Too big to expensive.  Hopefully I can find some smaller and cheaper

If it were me I'd make an encapsulated pod, a steel box even, mounted underneath the cab to support one or two amps.
