I will never ship out another package through USPS. Three weeks ago, that's right 21 days, I mailed two sets of components to a member in New Mexico and they finally arrived today. I mean WTF? It only takes four days not twenty one. Lucky for me he was VERY patient. I honestly thought I was gonna end up having to refund his money and just eat the loss. I'm relieved he finally got them but now that I know that they are there I'm kinda pissed off about the whole deal. Oh well, live and learn. :boobies:

Once you ship a LOT of stuff you'll get a good comparison of how USPS handles their insurance claims VS UPS or Fed Ex..... I use the post office when practical, with the caveat that international mail is a horror show, but it's still 1/4 of the cost of the competition so it's worth the risk if you spread it out over a lot of items.

Whats crazy is I shipped two amps the same day to Malaysia and they arrived two weeks before the speakers made it to N.M.

A couple of months back I bought a pair of Alpine SPX mids off ebay and the pair were shipped in a USPS flat rate box, they made it in great condition across the country in 3 days.

Most of the time it's quicker than you'd think actually, but when things go bad it's really really awful.

Still ever tried to claim loss/damage against UPS/Fed Ex? I've made a few through the post office in my day and it's typically just fill out a form online and you get a check in the mail in

I really dont know if I'll be shipping a package USPS ever again. Shit really chapped my ***. Guess i should be happy it made it, but three freaking weeks? I still have the reciept, shipped on 6/7/2010. I know if I'd been the buyer I'd be pissed, probably thinking I had got scammed. But he has been reallly cool about averything and sent me a text earlier saying they finally made it.

Fed Ex FTW...tracking...insurance...reliable and much faster than the US "fucking pony express" PS... they ****...but then again they are a semi-governmental agency so what do you expect?

This. If you didnt pay for First Class, Priority, or Express you have no place to complain. You never specified.
