i think u guys all give a wee bit too much credit to the equipment. diff woofers in same box should yeild different results either good or bad but from that you can optimize from that and take it in a direction again even better or worse. its what you do with it that matters

If they arent that much, Id be willing to pick one up just to see how it compares to other subs in its class for power handling.

Everyone knows that dB drag involves just a shitton of power on the strongest sub you can get your hands on. The few people that do finesse things aren't the ones winning. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif MECA involves IMO more testing with boxes and subs (although not as much as previous years because of the new fuse rule) than dB drag does. Now remember, this is MY opinion, i don't really care what anyone else has to say. I know alot of dB draggers spend alot of times on enclosures, don't get me wrong, but the power levels they have in all those classes are ridiculous. I remember seeing JBL crowns in street classes. I mean, come on now.

I wouldn't minde competing against anybody that would be in my dB drag class to a challenge at the headrest with MY power (under 1000 watts, actually, under 700 watts). 1 10", 700 watts, 146.1 at the headrest.
