those subs are sq subs... they can get loud specially the w6v2 but if you want spl you'll be better off with other subs like the Type R or the SX

the w6v2 is pretty good for spl too....and i used to have 2 12w3v2's and they sounded good....but they didnt get all that loud...

12 12w6v2's will be a good setup....if you can afford it....it will be loud as hell and still sound amazing...
