Type X or....?

I definately want SQ as i listen to a lot of different types of music..But i also want some good SPL when i listen to rap. What are the other options aside from the type x?

I only need one 12"..

Any suggestions on the amp?

I am looking to get a setup as cheap as possible without sacrificing too much quality...

i highly doubt you would find a type x for 200. i think if you wanted something comparable to the type x, you should look at the jl w6v2, diamond tdx, and i have heard good things about the magnum d2 but i am not sure about availbility. you will pay for all of those as you would for the type x.

how about a type S. the type x juss sux man, i'd go wit an type s and if u want a lil more thump behind it, get a type r.

i'd get the type x but it's going to cost you more than 200...

I wouldn't go for the Type S I hate mine go for the R and you should be able to find a 500 watt amp for a few hundred bucks

If i do dish out the money for a type x...is it worth it? remember..i only want one sub which is why im thinking type x.

If i did, is there any amps you can recommend for the X that would be a good deal

i think one type x ported tuned correctly would be well worth the money... a good amp for cheap is the one i have, conceptcc-d1200... puts out it's power and draws very little current... under 200 bucks shipped for sure...
