Type X in a single cab F-150

I can pick up a great deal locally on a sub and amp combo.

Fusion 1500.1 D Amplifier and a Alpine Type X 10" Sub

The sub is fairly large, I'm concerned about fitting it behind the seat of my 98 f-150 single cab. Any inputs on this, would it work? Is this sub like the type r's and like vented box better?
