Installbay 1/0 gauge ?

For that price range go with the DB Link kit. Its actually some pretty nice stuff for the price. Ended up using alot of it in my van for all my highs amps and its pretty solid across the board.

Or for a little more money ($90) get the Knu Kolossus kit.

wow thats a great deal on the DB link kit. i need alot of wire and another fuse holder and distribution block so i was thinking of getting a kit and an extra roll of wire. do you know where you might get it in 50ft rolls

We have a bunch of that stuff around for outlet customers.

It is about 2guage

look for the other 0 kit they offer. It has an anl distro bock and is setup for two amps and i see them for the same price they are asking for the single amp version.

If you are looking for true 0g this is not what you want. If you are ok with 2gauge it is a good deal the dual kit comes with a bunch more stuff.

Install bay is owned by metra/tsunami

this kit is a step up from raptor

thanks for the answer. ill prob just get a couple rolls of knu and buy the fuse holder seperatly

Its a wiring kit nothing special
People and their completely useless posts....

But yeah, I agree that it does look very simliar to KLMX. I have an installbay fuse/fuseholder, but that's it. Does the job, like any other fuse.

I would just go with klmx to be honest. People rag on it, but iv'e used it and though it's not the greatest stuff, unless you need extreme flexibility for some tight install, then it's fine. I use Knu's Kollossus in my car, but I wouldnt' mind KLMX at all...especially for half the price.

yea for the price its really hard to beat. thinking of getting a couple rolls to do my whole car in soon

I have used that kit for two installs. It is a decent kit for the money. I have used it in situations that call for a 2 gauge wire and don't think that I would use it if you need a true 1/0 wire.

The only complaint I really have is that they don't give you any connectors for the 1/0 gauge wire. I thought it was strange because I don't know how they expect you to wire it up to the other end of the fuse holder. It has one that is already connected and a few connectors for the 4 gauge wire but seems to be missing one for the 1/0 gauge. That may be a small complaint but just something I noticed.

If I had to do it again I would just but some Knu wire and buy the rest seperately.

Db link 0 gauge has a much higher strand count

Id still go with Knu, or if you have a weld shop close by, copper weld wire is by far the cheapest and best for the money, if you dont care about the cable being black surround
