Well, I'd assume they are decent. I've heard bad reviews of type R comps though.

Is this true? Site your source? I;ve heard them in person and they're alright.. but they're seriously lacking in the midbass department.

i almost got these but then i changed my mind after reading around here on the forums and went with the rainbow SLCs instead, which was a very good choice i might add (also a lil bit cheaper)

Ya ive decided to get some rainbows over the type-X's. Many people say the ranbows own. rainbow FTW

I the high end Alpine speakers are rebadged Vifa spakers. There are similar speakers avaliable for much cheaper at partsexpress.com. Fun to make your own components.

I'd go with Eclipse but that's just because I've heard both and was looking for the best SQ possible in that price point before and they out performed the focal's in realism.
