Type S or HE

I really want some new subs and I am deciding between the Rockford HE 12s and the Alpine Type S 12s.I want more SQ but I also want good SPL.I have only heard the HEs,I have never heard the Type S.Both speakers have close to the same specifications and are both in my price range(about $75 each).I will probably be running them off of a Kicker 360.As long as they hit and sound way better than my Punch Zs I will be happy.I just wanted to see what you guys thought.Thanks

punch hes, not a fan of the type s cause its the basic series of alpine. Now the type r, that would be a different story!!!!!

I would go for the he's, they will put out more spl but probably wont have quite as good sq as the type s's will, but will sound way better than ur z's

Go for the type S, Im not a fan of HE's because they aren't HX2's. Alpine for sq.
