I got two 12 type r 4 ohm's as a gift and was wondering if there a difference between the 2 and 4 ohm if so whats the diffrence and what amp would i need to push them all the way???Ya i searched all ready but didnt find what i was looking for thanks in advance.....Money not a problem so whatever amp works

select your subs by what impedance that u want ur amp to run @

you already have the dvc 4ohm right? if so get a mono amp that'll do 1200-1500wrms at 1ohm.

youre gonna need an amp that pushes 1000-2000 watts rms @ 1 ohm or 4 ohms

i think you can get them for about $300 or so. great amp, i have one in my car right now.

Look around man but don't do like most people that get into car audio and go to best buy , or circuit city or even walmart they will all just try and sell u popular name brand stuff well not walmart they just have cheap shit amps i would suggest try lookn for a used one here in the classifieds section or
