type R's louder than audiobahns???

i know everyone says audiobahns are crap but hear me out. i heard this kids system today. consists of two audiobahn eternals 12s off of a kole audio 5500 amp( never heard of it).looks like the rockford amps, the ***** was like 3 ft long. they were in a ported box. now im not gonna lie they were loud. sounded like shit but ****ing was flexing the body panels. windshield was also vibrating real bad.i didn't believe it when he told me so i had to see for my self. ive not seen to many loud systems other than my own which is 2 kicker CVRs off of 900 watts in a ported box. so i obliviously haven't seen any great systems. my new set up is going to be 2 12 inch type R, getting a hifonics amp hoping to send at least 750 RMS to each sub. so do i have a chance of being loud or louder than him with 1500 watts? he said hes running 2400 RMS, but all he has is stock electrical and a small battery in the back by the amp. I know i should not try to base a system by comparing it to someone elses but when he told me audiobahn i thought it would of been some of the chromed out ones that are no good.

I had 2 12" Type R's off a BXi2006D in my Bonneville. Not being able to fold my rear seats muffled the hell out of them though.

ya i mean i think thats because he was running stock speakers though. i could not even tell what song he was playing. i told him he may want to get some better speakers up front and an amp.

i have 2 type R's and a bxi2006d that i am selling that hit 143xx in a tcaab box. took 2nd place in its class last year

Sounds like a typical F.A.G to me. People tend to just buy subs and stick them in a car so when they turn their volume above 41 you cant hear anything but bass tones. Its unfortunate that 96% of them own audiobahn shit too.... All i can say is browse around here, and check shit out. It will more than likely pay off.

moar power on the R's, louder they get, until like ~1500 watts each.

you might want to get MOAR power on the R's, 5 cube box, ~33hz then you'll be louder with PROPER electrical.

the Eternals arent anything to sneeze at, atleast they're the better or the Bahnz, but they all still ****!
