type r vs cvx

Wow all these kicker lover!

I dont hate on kicker, i just think for his money being 20yrs, he might want to spend it more wisely & buy something that will give him the best of both world which kicker doesnt.

the L5-L7's are beast in a ported box, but when it comes to musical i think he should look esle where.

sorry you kicker lovers, but yes i've played with & owned kicker & Alpine type-r.

I have owned a RE-SE as well which will make both of them look bad.

The not only will flex your car, i will go really deep doing it, if you want a sub that kick your chest in then look into RE,FI,ID,SSA,Mach5 Audio,DD,etc.....

look into RE-SE, its probably best sounding sub in its price range.

1-12 off of 750-1000, ported will be loud & go really deep.

with rock this sub is fast, I was playing a song by I WANT REVENGE & the double kick bass felt like it ripping through my back side to my chest, it sounded good & felt good doing it.

When i had my SE i use to love watching it flex the inside of my car

this sub doesnt sound sloppy or farting like other subs can & will do.

There are many others on this forum that love there RE-SE .

^^^^so the kicker gets louder then the Fi-Q???

interesting

The kicker is more of like the Type-r a one hit wonder sub.

yes tell can make your car walls flex, but that doesnt mean they sound good doing it, plus they can go low enough as the Fi,Re,ID's,etc......

Hey Wildleadfoot,

Since you are looking for SQL, try one -12.

SPL is more of 1200 & above, but if you want something that hits really hard & sounds good with a controlled cone

learn how to build your own box, & port it, you will be real happy in the end

by you buying only one 12 you will have extra money to spend on a better amp, plus you need to deaden your trunk as well.

materials like MDF isnt cheap,glue,etc....

this audioque amp shoud work really well with the FI- subs.

WTF are you talking about. Again, go play in the lounge.

Risky company. Apparently if there is ANY issue with supply/delivery/quality the company is a total nightmare. Works when it works, but lord help if something's backordered or shows up not working.
