Type R vs. 12W3V2

What are the differences between a 12inch type R and a 12inch W3V2? I know that the R will handle lots more power, but does it sound any different? I've read that R's have better SQ than the W3's. I currently have a 300 rms 900max RF amp to power the sub. Thanks

i think the w3 would be better suited to the 300watts you have on tap. the w3 would also be better compared to the type e.

x2. 300 watts just isnt enough to get a type r moving
