you can find re se's for about that price too. there's a bunch of em really.

I had a pair of cvx's and they aren't as loud as type r's. The type r's were 2 db's louder!

I would sell the l5 and get 2 type r's. My friend had a 15" l7 and then got a 15" type r and it was louder so I think the type r would be louder than an L5.

But it really all depends on what your looking for in your setup

I, also was planning on getting a type r 15" .. but i was just checking out the re audio line and im not sure.. the re sx looks like a very nice sub.. how does it compare?

The two best in that price range would be the R or the SE.
