hmm so what the 1 12 in the ported box woudl be the loudest compared to 2 12s in a sealed box?

Well, no one can say for certain. It depends on a lot of factors. But, I said cost effectiveness. It'd be a lot cheaper to buy / build a new box rather than buy a new sub, new amp, new box for something that might be achieved by porting it.

you wont be dissapointed, get another d4 type R a 4 cube ported box and wire that amp to 1 ohm give them 800 each and you will be happy.

Do about 2.25 - 2.5 cubes for daily. Smaller will be better for SPL, larger should sound nicer.

Running my type-r with a 2^3 @32hz and that bish is wayyyy louder than my old 1.2^3 sealed.

i wasnt gunna buy a new amp i was jsut gunna wire the 2 subs to teh one amp at 1 ohm which would b 800 watts each sub

my 1 12" type r in 1.25^3 sealed has done 133.9 dbees on the TL

and i think it can go even higher cuz of how my amps mounted i think im losing a few dbees

heres what my trunk looks like and the board around my box is what i think is making me loze dbeez even tho that it was my amp is mounted on.... i did it so it would look clean

In a proper box you would do 140's like cake.
