TYPE R setup???

Ok so here it is currently i have 1 12" 4 ohm dvc alpine type-r sub in 1.25 cube sealed box on a hifonics brutus 1608d 1600 watt amp at 2 ohms getting 1100watts rms

what would be a better choice based on space limitations:

buy a second 4 ohm 12" type r and put both of them into a sealed box off of the same amp

or

just put my 1 12 into a ported box off the same amp???

which would be loudest and sound best?

i dont ahve room for a ported box for 2 12s i dont think

Cost effectiveness vs. Immediate satisfaction.

You could buy a second sub, buy a new amp, and it would technically get 3db louder (if you kept the same WRMS) or you could just port the bish and get an increase in output.

hmm so what the 1 12 in the ported box woudl be the loudest compared to 2 12s in a sealed box?

x100 opn port it? but how much space you have maybe you can fit 2 ported.

i have a 2000 nissan altima gxe systems in the trunk...

you might be able to fit measure your trunk. i got my pair of type Rs in 4 cubes and it does pretty good.

someone around here probably could build you a 4 cube box. hell i got one built for my extended cab frontier for 2 type r's

well i want to have space in my trunk to put things if i need to room back there

but i was thinking hte single ported box to be about 3 feet cubes tuned to 33 hz would that be good or could there be a better choice? i might get a tuning plug so i can change it from like 45 hz or something to 33hz so i can do spl comps too....

in the trunk of an altima gxe

and better ideas?

3ft^3 is too big for 1 12" R

i can fit in my trunk with how i ahve everyhting mounted up in there

and im 6'2" 175 lbs im a bit crunched up if i do get in the trunk but i coudl fit with the trunkclosed
