Hey guys, i havnt been on this forum in a while but i have a new type r never been used. exept theres a pen sized puncture in the cone. Should i just get it reconed, or can i still play it with decent sound?

It shouldn't affect it too much, if it was any bigger than that it might have sum odd loading on the cone. Type-R are pretty cheap subs so depending on what size, reconing might be as expensive as buying a new one.

Should be fine. The Type R is basically built with a cone on the bottom and a huge dustcap on top.

alright yeah the dustcap is the only thing thats punctured, i think im still going to try it out
