Its going in a 3 door civic si. its going to stay sealed, and have crisp resonse.

thats why im leaning towards jl. but i dont know for sure.. thats why im just gettin opinions here.

well all i need is something with really crisp response sealed. its not ment to get super loud, just something to add the slight bump, needed in trance music.

TC db500 is only $100

TC-1000 12" is $159

Ive had a sub that was basically a TC-1000, in my Corvette for about a year, and I mostly listen to trance and sounded great sealed. Plus unlike alot of companies with fake looking metal cones, this one actually IS metal, its alumnium.

Diamond D3... but if you actually want a reccomendation for one of the options you gave I would have to say 05/06 type R.

I have one and love it. Its good for a low powered system.......150-225 watts rms.

so pretty much im looking at a type r or w1 for something that doesnt need t get low, but it just needs a fast response. crisp and do the point.. you know?

i just got the tc db 500 10" and own the 10" type r

and have had a pair of 10w1's.

w1 in a smaller sealed box sq is nice and does get loud.

type r, would be the loudest but its kinda boomy least of the sq.

never had one in a sealed box before though.

db-500, well im still listing to it and i can tell you i wont be putting the r back in any time soon. sq is awsome alot quicker responce and when the bass hits there is a nice solid kick. ive only had it a few days and box is tunned kinda high

so untill i get more time with it, id say go with the w1.

well this is a sealed box, so it cant be tuned at all.... would that make a signifigan difference to the response; i know it will to the loudness of it.

i guess i will just stick to a sealed 10 w1v2.

how will either of these amps do?
