Type R or Shiva

Im trying to decide between a type r 12 or a shiva........ill be giving it 400 watts rms from an old school orion .....what do yal think ?

type r can handle the power better looks cooler but over all the shiva is probably a little better ....shivas only need up to around 300 watts or less (60-300)

shiva no ? imo. and i really dont think type r's can take more power thermally... mechanically i'm sure.

yeah, i'd give you a review of one, but UPS in all their wisdom decided to ignore the difference between my shipping and billing address, going with the address on my checking account...

so my Shiva is happily chilling 200 miles away at home. Review and pics will have to wait until January sometime when I get back from Xmas (or is that Xmax? //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif) break.

I would also love to give you a review however the ebay store I bought my Type R's from (audiovibrationz) like to sell there products even when they dont have them in stock. So they will come soon since they supposedly said they will be revieving stock of the Type R last week.

Type-R's are much easier to hear...a lot of local shops stock Alpine...

shiva over the type r ALL DAY ANY DAY OF THE WEEK..... whoever stated shivas can't handle that much power needs a reality check i got 600 watts on one.
