ok, i think i have it narrowed down to the type r 12" or idq12v2. Which will sound better? Will be in a shared (dual subs) 1.8cf sealed box, with around 375 wpc for each sub. I started to just order the r,s, but heard the idq is a faster sub, and tends to work better with music....just dont want to buy, then not like..already did that twice now:D

Thanks

i would rather have sound quality...not into rap sort of banging. I mainly listen to old heavy metal, rock..but do listen to mary j blige from time to time:D.

He's comparing an ARRGGGHH and an IDQ obviously he doesn't know what he wants
man i really dont know!, just getting into car audio a little. Been messing with home theater for years..but in home theater i just use a svs or velodyne:D

from circuit city?

Just messing with you. Type r's have been known to be a decent woofer and get quite loud. Not known for their sound quality by an means though.
thanks..thats what im looking for. Seems like all i read, everyone is raving about the r..but on another forum, they are raving on the idq, , just trying to keep from getting buyers remorse
