type r or cvx

well i feel like a new sub. local dealer sells kicker and alpine. i want it today cuz its payday and dont feel like waiting for shipping. i have 800 rms to play with so both will be recieving the right amount of power. was going to go after a lvl 3. but meh i want a new sub now.

dont rush because its wasting money when you can get a better sub for cheaper online, i had some re se's and put a pir of cvxs in while i was building my new system of 4 wild beasts and the cvxs were so horrible compared to my other subs i disconected them, kicker subs have this sound i just cant stand, not musical at all, they do get loud, didnt hit as low as i liked

all the dealers are out of cvx's here. so no sub today. looks like i will have to order one.... might as well just get a lvl 3 than.

I got a lvl 4 XL DC for $270 here on CA.com..... Just be patient and you'll come across a much better deal.. But back on topic i've had cvx's and i'd much rather have those over a type R

i hit 141 at the dash sealed, on music with a single type R 12. neither are bad subs really. you are comparing 500 watts to 1000, even though we all know type r's handle more than 500. for the same money though, i go with cvx.
