type r mounting depth?

i just bought 2 new 2006 10" type r's.. does anyone know the mounting depth for these..i just bought a box for a mustang, and the box says it only has a 7" mounting depth..hope i'm not ****ed //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Is it one of those molded boxes? They're usually pretty shallow.

Mine came with a crappy low-end xtant 10" in it, couldn't even get the rockford p3 10" that i bought into it, so i threw the box in the garbage, $200 or not.

I think i ended up with a $30 sealed enclosure from walmart. $5 worth of fiberfill in the box, and it sounded fine.

6-7/8" No pole vent so should be fine
