i got a type r and amp, but i want to put it in my room, i got a reciever. i see people use cp power supplies. i cant just rig something

Easy dude, PC ATX power supply. Grab one with the power you need for the amp. Short out the green wire with any black. (Strip the wires and tie 'em). Then any yellow wire to the 12V on the amp and any balck wire to the ground on the amp. Everything else reg. hookup, just like in a car. Plug in the power supply, fire up the deck and you should be golden. I have a full setup in my room and its great.
