Type R fine with 850wrms?

If the gains were set correctly, would an 05 Type-R take 850wrms? When I had one it took 500rms with the gain turned up no problem.

friend of mine had 2k on his 15, and I had 1500 on my 10. So you should be fine.

i don't know about the 05's, but my 06's will do it. i hooked my precision power up to one and it did fine on 1400. gains were down a little, but type r's are good subs.
