Type R box question

Hi, I remember there was a sticky on this fourm all about type R box information. That post would be very helpful to me but I cant seem to find it with a search. I would like to know if a box that had two 12" subs in it that were not sealed from each other would be too big at 5 cubic ft' for two Type R's. The box would be a sealed box(not ported) and like I said, the two subs would share the space inside(not sealed from each other).
