Ok so I'm trying to design a sealed box for a 15 SE. This is my first box build and the dimensions I came up with to make the box a little over 2 cubes after displacement are 17 high x 18 wide x 15 deep. Would this box look decent or what changes should I make to it? I'm using 3/4 mdf with brass bolts for a wire terminal. This is goin in a hatchback but I'm not gonna do a ported yet, I'm just tryin to get some experience first.

dont use bolts for a terminal, drill the hole 1/16th bigger than the wire and pull it through the box wall then silcond around the wires for a tight seal.

2 cubes sealed will allow more power to be run to the sub -

as it is going to be psyicly limited throw by the little amount of air space.

also

it will take more power to make this sub loud in a small enclosure like that.

id say do any where from 2.5 to 3.5 cubes sealed.

then you can add "filler" to the box to get it sounding how you like it to,

if its nessary. if its too small off the bat = start over new box.
