Type R amp?

Any suggestions for two 12" Type R's? I had a Rockford Fosgate that somone @#$@'d with and was overpowering the speakers, so I ditched it. (I was constantly getting the farting sound). I do have a JL 6450 but I don't think that that is enough power to power them. (As even in bridged mode it feeds 160w). Is there any way that anyone can think of to hook them up with that amp or can anyone recommend a good amp for me to get for them (ideally I'd like to run them at 1ohm).

ive got a rockford T1000.1bd on my 2 and i love it! got it at a great price on ebay too....have had it for two years with no problems, with the gain at half it doesnt even get hot to the touch....

Just get something to give them 1000 watts each..

Sundown 1500 would power them nicely...IA 20.1 would pound as well
